Fit to be a mama
Exercise is a great way to prepare yourself mentally and physically for childbirth, and to help your body recover afterwards. While it’s best not to over-do it, regular low-impact exercise strengthens your muscles, improves your mood by increasing endorphins and can reduce backaches, stiffness and labour pain considerably. I will be listing some of the various pregnancy exercises that I recommend below, and updating regularly.
Please consult your GP before starting any new kind of exercise regime; without getting to know you personally I can recommend techniques which have helped me and other mums, but everybody is different. Be sure to start at a level that is comfortable for you.
