‘Yoni’ is the Sanskrit word for women’s bits! These herbs are useful for healing your bits after birth! Torn bits can heal herbally without stitches!

Immune System Check

Raise immune system with garlic & echinacia to promote healing.

Feverfew (Tanacetum Parthenium)

Stimulates the actions of the womb whilst also relieving spasmodic pains. Only to be used during labor!! Mixes well with golden seal for second stage of labor!!

These herbs can be made as a standard tea-like brew & then either sweetened with honey then drunk or used as a compress on head, abdomen, wrists or lower back. Also can be used in tincture form, mixed with cool water as refreshing & helpful drink!

Sage (Salvia Officinalis)

Sage stimulates the muscles of the uterus so is only to be used during labour!

Salvia means “to save”. It helps to relieve pain and soothes nerves. Has also been known to save ailing newborns!

Dose

Infusion 2tsp to 1 cup water 3 x a day.

Babies at Boomtown

So the sun shone the music played we danced sang and ate much chocolate! The Love Dome in Hold It Down Town at Boomtown Fair was the joyously tranquil space where Vanessa and Lara held their Natural Childbirth Loving  Joy Workshop on sunday. We connected with 7 different couples and swapped many stories and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Love Tea, raw food energy brownies, the princess and the poo, pelvices, babies bellies and Love ! Raspberry Leaves (Rubus Ideas)

Raspberry leaf tea strengthens and tones womb tissue, assisting contractions and checking any haemorrhage during labour.

Dose

Infusion 2 tsp to 1 cup water, drink freely

Test if your body needs raspberry leaves by drinking one cup of brew & checking how you feel, if you start to feel period pain type contractions in your belly you don’t need it. Recommended for the last 2 months of pregnancy.
